Well, it's been a while since I last posted. Yes, I am still alive. I am quite excited by the return of tennis. The Aussie Open was fantastic, except for the officiating. The women's final was a marketer's wet dream, with the two hottest players playing. The men's final was a match of upsetters, Djokovic defeating Federer, and Tsonga beating Nadal.

Sunday was spent enjoying a Rambo film festival. A buddy of mine hosted it at his place and we each chipped in cash for pizza and drinks, with the balance going to charity. Good mindless fun.

I'm hooked on American Gladiators. Has anyone watched J-Pod on CBC? Surprisingly good CBC show.

That must have been a looong Rambo festival.
I can't believe American Gladiators is still on TV, that was around when I was born!
Haven't seen a whole episode of J-Pod.
That title always makes me think of a Japanese i-pod.

It's the "new" American Gladiators. I think they took a hiatus, and now it's revamped?

Watched JPod premiere, and not since... maybe tonight? You can see them in full at http://www.cbc.ca/jpod.

JPod is either hit or miss with people. It's very Gen-X. After all Douglas Coupland is the author of the original book and co-writer of the script.

American Gladiators is silly, but fun. Wolf is my favorite Gladiator.

Hahaha. I only watched the first two movies on Sunday evening.

Watching J-Pod now. Awesome show. I want to read the book now. Maybe I should pay a visit to my local friendly bookstore...

It's a remake of the original. Hulk Hogan and Mohammed Ali's daughter are hosting it. Same idea though.
